The first Sedona Hummingbird Festival took place August 3-4-5, 2012 at the new Sedona Performing Arts Center with presentations by invited hummingbird experts in the areas of science, gardening, photography and conservation.
On Saturday night, Dr Luis A. Mazariegos, one of the world’s noted hummingbird photographers and hummingbird conservationists from Colombia gave a conservation lecture.
There was a Hummingbird Mall where a variety of vendors had merchandise, art and Sedona related experiences.
